Farewell to Bogusław Bortnik

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bogusław Bortnik on 28 July 2026, at the age of 70 — an outstanding archer and long-time member of the Polish national team.

We have lost a man for whom archery was more than a sport — it was a lifelong passion, a school of character and a path to self-improvement. Throughout his career, Bogusław impressed us with his remarkable focus, precision and Olympic calm, which he brought to every shooting line.

We will remember him as a competitor who always shot in the spirit of fair play — a multiple medallist of the Polish Senior and Junior Championships, and a mentor to younger generations of athletes. His composure and dedication to the sport were an example to us all.

We extend our deepest condolences to his Family and those closest to him.
